Ultrasound against cats

The solar cat repeller allows you to permanently and effectively eliminate problems with these animals.

Protect the passage areas of the garden, patio or terrace with a device that has ultrasound, sonic waves and flash light. For a good functioning of the solar cat repeller it is recommended:

  1. Place the solar repeller in areas where the animal passes. The motion sensor reaches about 10 meters, and the coverage is about 250m2.
  2. Use the ultrasonic and sonic frequency corresponding to the animal to be repelled.
  3. Install at the height of the animal’s ear, without barriers, walls, trees or other obstacles. Includes a stake to drive into the ground if necessary.
  4. Please note that ultrasound does not penetrate walls or fences. We recommend that you clean areas of urine residue with plenty of water and do not leave open food or garbage cans in your garden or yard.

It can also be used for dogs, foxes, pigeons, mice, rats, squirrels and other animals, in the corresponding frequency, different from that of cats.

How the solar cat repeller works

  • The device combines 2 functions that can work together or separately:
  1. Ultrasounds: with frequencies ranging from 13.5 KHz to 45.5 KHz (imperceptible to people).
  2. Sonic waves: frequency that are perceptible at a short distance by people and very annoying for animals.
  • The device works in 2 different ways and can be operated at the same time or independently:
  1. Motion sensor: when it detects movement up to 10 meters.
  2. Continuous operation: it emits randomly, every certain time interval.
  • The solar cat repeller has the option to turn on LED lights at night (optional).

Preguntas frecuentes

How far does the motion sensor reach and can it be used without a sensor, i.e. continuous ultrasound?

The integrated motion sensor detects animals at an angle of 120° and at a distance of about 8 meters. We can use it continuously, so it does not need to be triggered by movement and will emit randomly at different time intervals.

Can I use only the motion sensor, or the continuous mode?

You can use only motion sensor or add the continuous mode function.

Can I use only ultrasound or only sonic waves?

Yes, they are 2 independent functions that can work separately or together.

What advantages does this product have over other ultrasound products?

It is a device that combines ultrasound and sonic waves. It is a device that works with motion sensor or in continuous mode. In addition, it includes a flash that scares the animals at night since this type of light does not exist in nature.

Is it mandatory to use the stake?

An optional stake is included in the installation, but is an add-on. Can operate without the stake.

Do you need batteries?

It works with 1 rechargeable battery (included) and is recharged with the solar panel incorporated in the device or with USB (included).

What does the ON and OFF button mean?

This is the button that enables continuous operation, and is independent of the motion sensor, but can also operate with the motion sensor activated (ON continuous mode on).

What sonic waves should I use with each animal?

Sonic wave 1: deer, goats.

Sonic wave 2: squirrels, foxes, rabbits, wild boars and wolves.

Sonic wave 3: birds, dogs and cats.

Sonic wave 4 and 5: rodents and bats.

Which ultrasound should I use with which animal?

  1. Ultrasound from 13.5 Khz to 19.5 Khz: rodents and crawling insects.
  2. Ultrasound from 19.5 Khz to 24.5 Khz: rabbits, wild boars, foxes, wolves, cervids, goats and squirrels.
  3. Ultrasound from 24.5 Khz to 45.5 Khz: birds.
  4. Mode 4: alarm + flash.
  5. Mode 5: the above 4 modes working at the same time.

Can the flash lights be turned off?

The lights only operate on frequency 4, along with the audible alarm.
